This is a Biography written for me recently:
Nick Garner is the Head of Search for Unibet, the large European bookmakers. Within acquisition, he heads up SEO, PPC, Social Media, Refer a Friend and gets heavily involved Conversion Optimisation and Online Copywriting.
He is a recognised expert in SEO within the gaming industry, having had several big commercial successes in sports betting phrases. With SEO, he’s now turned his attentions to ‘international’ where he’s rolling out a substantial 14 country casino SEO project.
An internet marketing veteran, Nick has been architecting and building web sites for the last 12 years. He is an ex affiliate marketeer and prominent Wordcamp UK participant, having run many popular workshop sessions on SEO for WordPress.
He puts his SEO successes down to a practical understanding of internet related technology, human behaviour and ‘outreach’ to win the best links from 3rd party web sites. He is always prepared to do what it takes to win the rankings race, as long as its sustainable. Nick is a family man and competitive international sportsman based just outside London.

I have written a couple of articles for Computer Weekly and I’m a core member of the Wordcamp UK organising group and have run/spoken at sessions there on SEO. I’ve also spoken on various other panels about SEO. The best fun has been doing on the fly SEO surgeries and helping out members of the audience.
